12/10/2020 8 Comments SURREALISMSurrealism is a form of art that displays visuals of objects that are realistic but logically impossible. There are techniques in surrealism such as levitation, juxtaposition, scale change, dislocation, and transformation. For my piece below, I call it "Human Store." I used juxtaposition, transformation, and dislocation. The human fish opening the door is juxtaposition and transformation. The house on water is also displaying the technique of dislocation. The image below shows that walking fish are selling houses filled with humans.

It looks really cool. I like how you put the house on the water and it looks like it is all in one room. Very well done!

Very very nice. The only thing I think you could fix is the fishes fin in front of the door.

This is really neat! The editing is done very well and it really looks like the house is floating there. Where did you get your inspiration?

For as long as I can remember my dad took my brothers & I to a pet store. This pet store was just down the road from where he grew up. When I was younger I thought what if humans and fish swapped places.

Very good job, I love the way you used dislocation of the house on the water.

I really like your art! The waves are a nice touch and add some texture to the piece. I think you could have used the rule of thirds better, but I still think it's very nice overall :)
